Eurotel - Las Piñas Review

* Wahoo!! My very first review. There are more to come so please keep checking out my blog for more reviews. I am still in the process of writing a review for Eurotel branches at Araneta, Pedro Gil and Makati and I will also be reviewing Victoria Court at Las Piñas as well. I'm still collating resources for reviews of Lubricants, so that should be the last in my long-list of reviews for the month of April. So keep visiting my page aite?

Eurotel – Las Piñas

This is one of 4 reviews that I will create for Sogo’s new love hotel Eurotel. So far, to my knowledge, they have 4 branches. I think the very first one that opened was in Las Piñas. Feel free to comment on my blog if I’m wrong though. This will be my very first post and my first shot at blogging so yes, I am new to this. Comments and suggestions are much appreciated. Let’s get on with the review.

A Brief Background Of Sogo Hotel

Eurotel is owned by the people who brought you Sogo Motels. Sogo has made a reputation as the cheapest love hotel. You can pretty much find them all over the Metro, usually at the busiest places. So going in unnoticed will be almost impossible. You can get a room for as low as 200Php to 300Php. With a price like this, don’t expect to have a room that’s as clean as you’d expect it to be, staff that as courteous and fellow guests who you’d be hiding your face from thinking that they might take a picture of you and make it into a pirated porn DVD while waiting at the waiting area for a room.

And Then Came Eurotel

The people from Sogo have thought about this and then created Eurotel. As the name implies, Sogo tried to change the people’s perception of it and also added European flavor to this. You can actually see the difference between Sogo and Eurotel as soon as you set foot on their lobby. The lobby is long and you are met with a huge 1930’s map of the world with other pieces of furniture playing a vital role in keeping the European theme intact. There is a black piano situated near the front desk where sometimes you’ll be able to listen to a hired pianist playing it, calming guests while waiting for a room. Waiting at the lobby is more relaxing compared to Sogo. You can actually sit there and not feel embarrassed. Although, recently there are loud drunk Korean’s with girls they picked up from beer houses that pollutes the atmosphere that usually come around past midnight talking so loud that you can hear them from half-a-mile away. So I would suggest checking in early if you want to avoid encountering them.

Getting In

There are 2 ways to get in to Eurotel Las Piñas. One is from the front entrance and the other is at the back but that’s if you have a car. You have to go straight to the front desk to book for a room. If there are rooms available, you’ll just have to pay and then you’ll be assisted to the elevator area and can go on ahead to your room. If the place is fully occupied, then you will need to sit on the couch and wait until you are called upon.

Stay Duration

You have 3 options on how long you can stay. There are 4-Hour, 12-Hour and 24-Hour Stay. Rooms consist of Studio, Standard and Suite. Price usually starts at 400Php to 1200Php. It really helps lower down the price if you have a discount card (You get 20% discount) which lucky enough I was able to get when the place just opened. I guess I was one of the first 100 people to experience the place. Most of the time especially during the day, you’ll be able to get a room right away. But when the clock hits 10PM and onwards to 4AM, you’ll have to sit on the couch and wait a few minutes or even an hour while staring at other couples who are itching to finally get some private time with each other. This usually happens during the weekends. Though from my experience, I didn’t have to wait that long during weekdays. Maybe 10 minutes would be the longest wait time for me.

Room Assessment

The rooms have a nice European feel to it. Each room has a wallpaper that shows European landmarks which definitely help in adding to the European theme. The most important part is that the room is clean especially the bathroom. Although you will notice that they seldom vacuum the carpeting since some dirt exists still. The sheets are clean though but there are 2-3 mosquitoes that try to get a taste of your blood which I can let go since it’s quite normal for us to have that here in this country.

You will get two phone calls from front desk. A few minutes after checking in the room and also twenty minutes before your checkout time. Also, having 2 adult channels are also nice touches for people who need a bit of inspiration.

Conclusion

All in all, I would say that Eurotel is the best place to show your love to your partner without breaking your wallet especially if you are located here in the South. Just try to check in before 9PM or you’ll have to wait ‘til you get a room. But if you are looking for something that has more class, there is Victoria Court (Admiral) that is fifteen minutes away that will definitely suit your sexual needs.
